Through a hole

Have you fancied seeing the world through a hole?
I always did. And for once I thought I would capture it to share it with my friends.

The setting was just perfect - A very cold and a beautiful day. The world outside my den was covered with dense fog and frost. The Sun was trying its way through the dense fog thus lighting up the sky...

The peep through the door viewer just lit my soul for once. My dear was waiting to be held in hand...

I could not let this moment pass in front of me. The result - I froze the moment like the weather that day.

Overcast
All through the week, we look forward for the weekend...I am no indifferent. I wait for the weekend to add a new dimension to my world of nature. Sometimes, the wait turns out to be too long...

Come Fridays, I get ready to take a fresh and deep breath in a whole new world of nature's art. I backpack. Framing the nature has been my passion. But I had hardly ventured out to capture the nature at THE MOMENT...The Early hours of the day! Most of the time, I leisurely move around in the odd hours of the day...with sun on the top and too bright skies...looking for a kind assistance from the Mother Nature. Overcast at the right place.

I personally believed Overcasts play the foul game while framing. Dark pictures, unpleasent scenes, dull images. But Nature always proved me wrong, and I was gifted with one such Overcast beauty. I was at the right spot on a windy, cloudy day. A calm sea amidst heavy wind. A clear long view on a Overcast day. A terrific terrain with many shades of green. With a Sail through the wind, this frame captivated me for a while.

Friday Fanatics
The most awaited day of the week...Friday. It brings a world of happiness to everyone on the face of the earth.

A ray of hope for the lovers separated by a week load of work.
A day to take a break from the usual..
A day of transition from real to surreal world....
A day sans sleep.....
A day to blow off the wallet.....
A day for a bunch of friends to go wild......
A wonderful day for the families to get along...

Fridays - The stepping stone to 48 hours of absolute madness.

For me, Fridays always gave me a high kick...time to go out and shoot...time to explore a new place...time for games...
Most often, friday nights end up in the bowling alley...Glow balls, great music, neon lights, good friends, great atmosphere...what not...Till date, I was never left a Bowling lane with full satisfaction...

I am a friday fanatic. Are you?
And I am gonna freak this friday!!!

Lazy Afternoons
What can I say about the afternoons...be it in school or college or even work - A bed next to you...wouldn't that be a dream come true.
Through the phases of life, I have seen people snooze in the afternoons in many different ways...no matter what happens around.

The interesting nap I ever witnessed dates back to FIFA World Cup 2002 days. I was travelling to San Franscisco for work, first time out of India for me. My collegue was also a first timer. We had a stop over at Singapore. It was around 3 in the afternoon. All the football crazy fans in the lounge were waiting for two eagerly awaited matches - England vs Nigeria, Argentina vs Sweden. My collegue and I managed to grab two seats amidst the crowd. Around us, there were few 10s of people standing and watching the match. 15 mintues into the game, I heard a strange sound come from behind.
I turned around and noticed my collegue was fast asleep and snoring at a very high pitch...In a way I was pissed off looking at it, but then I didnt want to miss the fun...So I relocated myself to a corner and started enjoying the scene :)
If we sit and list down such incidents, I bet we can come out with a book full of stories...

But wait a sec, is it only humans who doze off?

The Performer
I wandered around looking for a subject on a gloomy day...As the time passed, the clouds started opening up for me. So does the people around. I stopped next to a performer to click a few.

Next to us, from one of the attractions of Bath, England, few kids popped out looking for someone to entertain them. The Clown, who was waiting for the right kind of audience, picked on these beautiful bunch of kids. He started with stick tricks followed by juggling...Slowly he pulled his audience towards him with his act and magic.

This frame was frozen when the kids were thrilled by his magic.

Its the audience who make a person The Performer. In this instance, the kids made his day and mine.

The Frame Data:
Location, Date - Bath, England. framed on 02-Oct-2005.
F-Number - F/7.1
Exposure Time - 1/200 secs

Its not often that I face the camera. I loved this cap which I found in ss Great Britian Dockyard in Bristol, England. An old couple, who passed by, commented "very smart". I didnt want this moment to fade in my memory.
The smile I wear, its the way I felt inside.
